UCD Social Impact Squad
Social Impact Squad Club
The Social Impact Squad is a dynamic college club dedicated to creating meaningful change in our community and beyond. Through volunteering, educational activities, and hands-on initiatives, members contribute to social good while building valuable skills.
This club is ideal for students passionate about positive change, community service, and the intersection of business and social impact, perfect for those eager to learn how business practices can drive societal benefit.
Key Activities
Members participate in a range of volunteer events across sectors, partnering with local charities, community organisations, and social enterprises. These experiences deepen understanding of societal challenges and enable members to make tangible contributions.
Throughout the year, we host sessions with industry leaders, UCD lecturers, and guest speakers. Topics range from social impact and sustainability to business strategy and corporate responsibility, offering practical insights into how these areas intersect.
Beyond business-focused activities, the club organises projects such as beach clean-ups to promote sustainability and environmental awareness. These hands-on efforts give members the chance to take direct action in protecting our ecosystems.
